Costa Rica Overview

Costa Rica provides the perfect combination of relaxation, adventure, culture, fine cuisine and wildlife. Join us on a 5 day/4 night exploration as we enjoy lovely tropical beaches, grand adventures, the wonders of nature, scintillating culture and cuisine. All inclusive resort accommodations will be provided by the Riu Guanacaste resort with flight packages being offered departing from Atlanta, Washington, DC, and JFK airports. Resort only pricing packages are also available.

Day 1: Costa Rica

When you arrive at the Liberia Airport you will be met by a transfer representative. From there you will be transferred to the all inclusive Riu Guanacaste Resort. After getting settled we will introduce you to the travel group and kick off our activities with a scavenger hunt and welcome dinner.

Day 2: Rainforest Tour

We will immerse ourselves into the beauty of Costa Rica by experiencing a Rainforest Tour. This excursion allows you to make the most of the Costa Rican rainforest by letting you explore the lush wildlife with the following options: canopy, kayak, safari, mountain bike or horseback riding. Round trip transportation and lunch will be included. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the stunning La Perla and La Vieja waterfalls! Later in the evening we will meet up for a group dinner on the resort.

Day 2: Kicking it in Costa Rica

Enjoy the beauty of the Riu Guanacaste Resort and the culture of Costa Rica. Take a swim in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean or enjoy the complimentary loungers located on Matapalo Beach. Visit the shops on El Poblado Street and nearby Playas del Coco. Enjoy the resort amenities which include sailing, kayaking, a tennis court, wind surfing and much more.

Day 3: Zip lining Excursion

Today will be all about adventure as we zip line through the cloud forest of Monteverde while taking in views of lush greenery. You will have the opportunity to ride on the Superman line; at almost a mile long and you can even share this experience with someone side by side, as you enjoy amazing ocean views during the ride. Take the thrilling Tarzan Swing from a 30-foot tower, defy heights with the Quick Jump free fall, or cross the hanging bridge, while keeping a lookout to see if you can spot the crocodiles underneath!

In the evening we'll come together for one last group meal to share our incredible experiences.
